Henrietta loves exploring the woods and pond with Gramma and Grampa. But her grandparents’ cottage has no electricity or running water, and this will be her first time staying overnight. Can she make it through the scary, dark night and finally see the great blue heron that visits in the morning?
—A great book for young campers
The book has been shortlisted for the 2017 Alice Kitts Memorial Picture Book award
Alice Whitney holds a BFA from Cornell University and taught art at Sussex Regional High School for 14 years.
